bloggers' (silent) poetry reading

Nature's first green is gold
her hardest hue to hold.
It's early leaf's a flower
but only so for an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn turns to day
Nothing gold can stay.

Thanks for a lovely choice of poem today. I don't have a knit blog, but read others with great interest so thanks for creating one. Surfed over (from Yarn Harlot or maybe You Knit What?) because your blog name caught my eye.

I love all these poems. I agree, nice choice! Green and spring on this wintry day.

Welcome to the Land of Knitting Bloggers! Personally, I don't think there can ever be too many.
